Chaptr Partners with Lyric Stage Boston on New Theatre Website

We’re excited to announce a new partnership with Lyric Stage Boston, founded in 1974 and known as Boston’s oldest professional resident theatre company.

This collaboration marks Chaptr’s second US-based arts and culture client in as many months and represents another step forward in our mission to help theatres and cultural organisations across the globe reimagine their digital presence and connect more meaningfully with audiences.

As Boston’s oldest professional theatre company, Lyric Stage has been a vital part of the city’s cultural fabric for nearly five decades. This new project will see us create a modern, accessible website that reflects the theatre’s heritage, values, and future ambitions.

“We’ve had the pleasure of working with Lyric’s Managing Director, Alex Chisholm, before and are delighted to join forces again,” said Chaptr Founder, Joe Perkins “His years of commercial and theatre experience always bring a strategic edge to projects. It’s the kind of value that lifts the entire process. We’re looking forward to creating something worthy of the Lyric’s legacy and reputation.”

We asked Alex what led Lyric Stage Boston to select Chaptr for this next chapter:

“As we look to expand our audience, we want to offer a digital experience that reflects the world-class dramas, comedies, and musicals we produce each season. Chaptr’s expertise in arts and culture will help us shine a brighter spotlight on what’s in our intimate theatre, creating opportunities to showcase vibrant digital content and streamlining customer journeys. We’re confident Chaptr’s formidable technical and design capabilities will help us realise our goals of increased audience engagement and ticket conversions.

We can’t wait to get started — and to share more as the project unfolds.
