Chaptr x MediCinema
Chaptr is thrilled to announce our partnership with MediCinema, a small charity with a big impact that aims to bring the magic of cinema to patients in hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
MediCinema provides a unique and immersive cinema experience for people who are undergoing medical treatment and are unable to leave the hospital environment. They currently operate in several hospitals across the UK.
Founder at Chaptr, Joe Perkins, said, “My connection to the MediCinema cause stems from being a passionate film enthusiast. As a child, going to the cinema was one of my favourite things to do, and even today, immersing myself in a compelling film remains my preferred form of escapism. My adoration for Film is closely matched by another passion that is an integral part of this project – the NHS. Perhaps it is because my wife is a doctor, but the NHS holds a special place in my heart. I couldn’t help nodding and smiling whilst reading the brief, thinking, yes, this has to happen in more hospitals”.
MediCinema has partnered with Chaptr to create a new website that’s sleek and streamlined, exuding a sense of purposeful impact to emphasise its primary purpose:
To make a tangible difference in the lives of patients and their families within the hospital environment.
Lysette Cohen, Director of Communications at MediCinema, expressed her delight at the partnership with Chaptr, saying, “As soon as we met with Chaptr we saw the impact they could help us to make through their design expertise and clarity of vision, and are really excited to be embarking on this project with them.”
We want to help MediCinema expand into more hospitals across the UK, with a new and compelling website that connects emotionally with its audience and compels more people to engage with the cause and donate.
