The first few years of an agency’s life are mainly about finding your feet, establishing your brand and getting people to know and trust you. Then you tackle the challenge of recruiting (and retaining) talented people, and work on being sharper and better than your competition – all whilst building up your portfolio to gain the recognition you need to land those ‘dream clients’.
At Chaptr, one of our most defining moments to date came in the form of a project enquiry in 2016 by London based Gemfields; a world leading supplier of responsibly sourced coloured gemstones.
We’ve since been working with Gemfields for the past 10 months to transform their online presence with a new elegant and luxury website design to help tell the world their inspiring story and educate people about the provenance of their responsibly sourced emeralds, rubies and amethysts.
We’re incredibly proud to showcase the new Gemfields website and want to thank everyone involved for their relentless effort in helping to make this happen. See the full case study here.
Gemfields was a pleasure to work on from start to finish; one of the main highlights for me was the Discovery Workshop we undertook at Gemfields HQ, to solidify our understanding of the brief, organise the content for the website and create a new user-friendly sitemap. I loved getting involved with the curation of Gemfields’ beautiful assets across the Mining and Gemstone pages – watching our ideas and designs come into form was truly exciting.
Throughout the project we gathered feedback from different management layers within Gemfields, this was challenging at times because we wanted to ensure all members of the team were satisfied with the look of the site and how the interactive elements worked; it’s safe to say all key stakeholders are as thrilled with the final result as we are.
