Introducing Future Worlds

We’ve worked on some great projects over the years,

from online shops,

to artist websites,

to restaurant branding.

The latest project we’ve had the pleasure of working on is Future Worlds, and it’s been fantastic!

Connecting ideas founded within universities, with mentors, entrepreneurs and investors is at the heart of the Future Worlds initiative; we were delighted to be given the chance to work with them. As a project of the University of Southampton and now with their own professional studio and dedicated team, Future Worlds are passionate in creating opportunities for engaging ideas to come into practice – setting a benchmark for universities and institutions around the world.

Reuben Wilcock leads the Future Worlds initiative and is also founder of the Future Worlds Incubator, a team of talented engineers who directly commercialise university research through product design, manufacture and marketing. The Incubator, which is based in the heart of the Electronics and Computer Science department, has links to suppliers, manufacturers and customers all over the globe and works closely with an ecosystem of contractors to provide an end to end service.

After taking all this into consideration, we went for a friendly but clean site – featuring a newsfeed style section showcasing the latest startups and spinouts, with a similar section featuring mentors who can offer their support. The site also includes an on-going blog with advice and information on new events. With its slick branding and playful use of colour, we feel as though Future World’s imaginative and engaging ideas come across brilliantly – and everyone’s happy!
