We Just Won an Awwwards SOTD (for the 2nd time!)

It feels great to be an agency when the creative community doffs its hat in your direction.
So with recent features on siteInspire, Designer News and being chosen as Mindsparkle Magazine’s site of the day last month, 2017 has been everything we could have wished for so far. We’ve really felt the love.
But things have just got better…

Chaptr Wins an Awwwards SOTD

We are delighted to announce that the new Chaptr site won an Awwwards ‘Site Of The Day’ (SOTD) 8th April 2017. This was an ambitious goal we set for ourselves at the beginning of the year as part of the site launch and we’re over the moon to have achieved it.
Winning SOTD is a giant roar of approval for us because the competition is fierce and the pool of talent keeps improving each year. It’s a welcome stamp of validation for our new look as Chaptr and the whole team is beaming with pride and excited to be leading the march for a better standard of design on the South Coast. Creative Director, Matthew Luke, shares what it means to him….

“For a small agency like ours, winning an Awwwards Site of The day is a huge deal. The exposure it gives you is enormous and the approval of your peers in this industry, an industry which, let’s face it, can be quite critical at times, is a great feeling. We’re so happy to be celebrated by the community we love and there’s no award for the work that we do harder fought than an Awwwards Site of The Day. Thank you colleagues and friends.”

When we scooped SOTD in Jan 2015 as BrightByte Studio, we received 6,131 unique website visits in one day and a total of 25,829 uniques in one month. We were just a small-time Southampton based agency at the time, so this was a pivotal point in our journey and led to some great clients, a bigger team and ultimately drove our decision to rebrand to Chaptr and become the fully serviced creative studio we are today. We’ll keep you posted on the unique hits we get this time around!
We are both ecstatic and truly humbled to be held in high esteem and respected by the wider design community. A big thanks to all those involved for your support. Stay tuned, we’ve got some more great projects to share with you really soon.
