Weekend Away In Brighton

Brighton is full of exciting pubs and bars, we were lucky enough to visit a few for our annual Christmas do. It’s safe to say we were all feeling fragile afterwards – but it was all worth it, we visited 4 pubs/bars throughout the day and leading onto the evening, with one cafe for a hearty full english to get us through the next morning.

  1) Craft Beer Company

The Craft Beer Company is situated in upper north street and was our first stop, serving a vast selection of craft beers with interesting flavours. They also serve a great selection of burgers which were absolutely delicious, although the hot burger should come with a warning…
We booked out a meeting room where Matt and Joe (Director guys) gave us a low down of our achievements of 2015; we’ve had the chance to work on some great projects that we’ve really wanted to work on this year. We’ve also gained two new team members that are helping us run things smoothly – great stuff. Our plans for 2016 were also revealed – there’s exciting things to come I can promise you that.

2) The Pull and Pump

The Pull and Pump was our second stop, we all had some good quality tequila to warm us up from the cold sea air. It had a great friendly vibe which we couldn’t fault with some cool interior lighting to really set the place off.

3) The Seven Stars

The Seven Stars was very busy when we arrived, with plenty of people enjoying an afternoon drink or meal. We loved the interior of Seven Stars, they boast an ever-evolving range of in-house gin infusions, which were:
Lemon & Honey
Chai
Peach & Basil
Grapefruit
Watermelon & Cucumber

4) Brewdog

(It says it in the name) we had a great time in Brewdog and were feeling very festive by the time we got there – and the card games came out…
We found a nice booth and tried some particularly strong Brewdogs own craft beer which there was a huge selection of. The interior of Brewdog was without a doubt the best we’d seen all day, featuring large neon text on the walls and a huge board with the drinks menu behind the bar.

5) Manor House

We visited Manor House for a much needed Sunday morning breakfast, after struggling to find somewhere that could seat 10 of us at short notice the guys at Manor House really made us feel like they wanted us there; and served one of the best full english breakfasts i’ve ever had. 5 stars!
