Coffee, Cake and Culture #2 – Oxmarket Contemporary

Oxmarket Contemporary, a hub for artists, designers and makers

For our second Coffee, Cake and Culture day we decided to visit the Oxmarket Contemporary in Chichester. The modern exhibition space is housed in a historic building in the heart of Chichester, showcasing a diverse range of local art, craft and design. We saw a range of paintings inspired by nature by the vibrant Tina Leslie in the John Rank Gallery. Tina Leslie’s expose titled The Art in Nature especially resonated with me growing up in the New Forest and appreciating nature. Kirsty also found the linocuts from Christopher Brown very witty and brilliantly inspired, which reminded her of printmaking at University when she studied at Winchester School of Art.

Understanding our recent achievements and future progress

After visiting Oxmarket Contemporary, we went to a Cafe called The Fat Fig for coffee and cake to discuss our recent achievements and new developments for Chaptr. Joe recognised each achievement over the last two months, from the release of the award-winning Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra website to new creative partnerships with our existing clients.

We also had a chance to discuss how we can further improve the exposure of Chaptr to new clients through marketing and creative outreach. Lastly, we discussed how we can further support our clients with new inspiring creative campaigns, proposing ideas that will help boost their brand awareness. You can read more about our first Coffee, Cake and Culture here.

I’m thoroughly looking forward to the next Coffee, Cake and Culture.
